30 wonderful years, two fantastic kids and alot of work later, we've decided it's time to take an extended break and travel. There will be three phases to the time off - skiing in the Rockies, Europe by campervan and downtime on the farm. This blog is intended to keep family and friends informed as to our whereabouts in case they want to travel vicariously with us. Hasta la vista!

Wir sind on top of the ZugSpitze in Germany at Garmische Partinkirsche amazingly beautiful place. Camping has been good, camper is perfect size for two friends. Been to Dinkelbuhl - wonderful 16th century town where Barb had her 22 birthday a couple of years ago. Had dinner in the same restaurant. The old campground is gone. Bikes have worked well around town and in the country. Weather has been spectacular. If only we could speak German - ´cause they sure don´t speak English. But we´re getting what we need. If this is the friendly part of the country though, we think we´ll visit France.
Auf Weidersehn!
