30 wonderful years, two fantastic kids and alot of work later, we've decided it's time to take an extended break and travel. There will be three phases to the time off - skiing in the Rockies, Europe by campervan and downtime on the farm. This blog is intended to keep family and friends informed as to our whereabouts in case they want to travel vicariously with us. Hasta la vista!

Stuck in Burgundy by fine wine, fine food, fine weather and nice people. And learning yet another keyboard.
Biked through the vineyards. Sampled a cellar. Toured Beaune. Great campground by the old town. Heading to the Museum today, and the Dordogne tomorrow.
Will post some pics when we get wireless.

We need more detail on food and spirits consumed! Did you do the Marché aux Vins in Beaune? Have you had a good meal of choucroute? Make sure you hit some “caves”. Is there enough room in that cool house on wheels for the cases of wine and eau-de-vie you’re supposed to bring home? Keep an eye out for Roman aqueducts if you’re heading south, real engineers can’t resist these!
