A long trip across the Auvergne hills from Beaune. Not lost very often. So now we are stuck in Sarlat in the Dordogne region. A serene campground with cuckoo birds and forest and pools! There is also draft beer and croissants and... Weather still grand. >Biking downhill to town is great, back is real exercise. The ride to the river was interesting, and we have seen the caves of cro-magnon man - look a lot like Peter. Saw Domme where we visited 30 years ago - much more touristy now.
Tomorrow will be ?
La vie est bon.

Ahhh...finally some worthwhile stuff now you've seen the light and moved on from Y'aallll Land.
Reviewing yer wheels and detail required re: make / model #...but I do believe she'd be running a 4 cylinder Mitsubishi diesel. Yu'll be needing my e-mail address all of sudden when yu 'run 'er dry' and lookin' to bleed the fuel system huh ? Show'em some Canuck ingenuity ( instead of calling a tow truck)...juz crack the valve at the pump...then once at each injector...can all be done while Barb finishing her morning tea and croissant ( dats one of dem twisted hot dog buns huh ?).
Ya, anyway, your wheels...you need to stiffin up the front end...take the exhaust straight up...and cut the back down to an open pick -up deck soz' you can set up a tent in the back and make like real campers.
Erik, my Erik....just 'flew' by you on the train to Avignon...ya, it was that blurr of red ( NO...not YU 'RED'!)...it only cruises at about 300 km/hr. (No, he IS my son...and he wouldn't be visiting France except his buddy has accomodation there = if the buddy was in Rwanda...that's where they'd be right now..now THAT is travel planning...see his guide book for more 'tips'.
Happy motoring.
